Fear not because we have Doctor Drama here to end your worries. Join her for a creative and cathartic workshop using drama therapy to understand and experience ways to manage stress effectively. About the Facilitator: Anupriya Meenakshi Banerjee Founder and Creative Director of Doctor Drama, Ms. Anupriya M. Banerjee has explored the landscape of theatre, dance, media and therapy. She is the first Indian to receive a Master’s Degree in drama therapy from New York University (2016). She also holds a Diploma in Journalism from NDTV Media Institute (2014) and Performing Arts from Actor Prepares (2010). She employs techniques of performing and visual arts with individuals in recovery across ages and abilities. In New York, she worked closely with depression, psychosis, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, mood disorders, chemical dependency, and trauma at Lenox Hill Hospital and Kings County Hospital. She was appointed as the Creative Arts Therapist In-charge of the acute psychiatric ward at Brookdale Hospital. Post her return to India, Miss Banerjee started an online portal called Doctor Drama, aimed at making expressive arts therapy accessible and comprehensible for people across the world. The portal offers DIY self-care videos, psycho-educational short films and documentaries about the expressive arts therapy movement in India. She has facilitated multiple self-care workshops for Public Health Office (Maharashtra State Board), Manipal University, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, International Autism Conference. Anupriya was also invited by Tedx ICT Mumbai to speak on drama therapy and self-care (2018)

Zumba is super fun and an energetic fitness program created by Colombian dancer and choreographer Alberto "Beto" Perez during the 1990s.
Zumba involves dance and aerobic movements performed to energetic music. The choreography incorporates hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue and mambo. Squats and lunges are also included.

I in Ink This Narra-Drama Therapy workshop is designed by Doctor Drama to bring to awareness one's personal script. We all have a script from which we operate and live our lives, but only a few of us are aware of it. Using a variety of cathartic techniques Doctor Drama helps us understand our script, and reword it ensuring we get the most of our journey. This is a drama therapy workshop where participants WILL BE using their respective cellphone (on airplane mode) to access deeper levels of insight into self, self-care and well-being.  Why cellphones? Many researchers attribute cellphone usage as modern day stressors, resulting in anxiety, narcissism, depression, loneliness, cognitive abnormalities, attention deficiency, and sleep deprivation. Statistics point to the inevitable nature of dependence on cellphones/tablets/social media in this day and age. This raises the question of: “How do we modify our relationship with our cellphones/tablets with the given level of dependence?” “Cellphones for Self-care” is an experiential workshop created to help participants identify the aptitude this technology holds in assisting with their self-care needs via drama therapy
